Craniosacral Therapy

a procedure for correcting distortions in the structure and function of the craniosacral mechanism – the brain and spinal cord, the bones of the skull, the sacrum, and interconnected membranes. The action of the craniosacral system imparts a subtle but palpable rhythmic motion to the entire body structure. It is believed that the cerebrospinal fluid, which protects and nourishes the membranes encasing the brain, spinal cord, and sacrum pulse at a certain speed. A skilled practitioner will be able to detect and release disturbances in the flow which can free tension in the body.

EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique

a process that involves tapping with your fingers on energy meridians of the body while tuned into “The Issue”. A ‘reminder phrase’ is used to focus on “The Issue.” EFT works by balancing the body’s energy system, removing any disturbance to the energy flow. It is widely applicable to both emotional and physical problems.


The Gyrotonic method is an original, and unique movement practice which has roots in Yoga, Tai Chi, and dance. Gyrotonic exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath. With Gyrotonic exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. Massage Therapy

the systematic therapeutic stroking or kneading of part or all of the body. Soft tissues of the body are manipulated to reduce tension and stress, increase circulation, aid the healing of muscle and other soft-tissue injuries, control pain, and promote overall well-being.


a soft-tissue therapy for treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. Fascia is a thin, elastic connective tissue that wraps most structures within the body, including muscle. When we experience physical trauma or inflammation, the fascia loses its pliability. This therapy restores the fascia’s ability to stretch and move without restriction.

Watsu/ Aquatic Bodywork — “Water Shiatsu”

This relaxation therapy provides supported movement, relaxed muscles and takes weight off the vertebrae. Many people achieve deep levels of relaxation by letting the support and warmth of the water melt away body tension.
